Jordan Bolger had 14 of his game-high 20 points in the second half to lead Concordia-Moorhead to a 72-66 win over No. 2-ranked St. Thomas in MIAC men's basketball play Saturday in Moorhead.

The Cobbers (14-8 overall, 10-7 MIAC) shot 70 percent from the floor in the second half (16-of-23) and 53 percent on the game to rally for a nine-point halftime deficit. Concordia's 7-0 run in the last 90 seconds ended the Tommies' 16-game winning streak and avenged a 64-38 loss to UST five weeks earlier in St. Paul.

St. Thomas (20-2, 15-2) saw its lead over second-place St. Olaf drop to one-half game as the Oles (15-3 MIAC) won in double overtime at Hamline.

UST plays St. Olaf at home on Monday, one of three home games in six days for St. Thomas next week to end the regular-season. The Toms are attempting to become the first MIAC men's basketball program to win or share 10 consecutive championships.

UST led 64-59 with 4:55 to go but was outscored 13-2 thereafter and went without a field goal. The game was tied at 66-66 into the final 45 seconds but Bolger made consecutive baskets to put the Cobbers up 70-66 with 10 seconds to play.

The Tommies made eight 3-pointers, had only 10 turnovers, and posted a 35-27 rebounding advantage in the road loss.

Conner Nord and Marcus Alipate scored 14 points each, Taylor Montero added 13 points and nine boards, and Cortez Tillman scored 10. Ryan Saarela added nine rebounds.

Bolger added nine rebounds for the Cobbers in 35 minutes. Ryan Rude scored 11 of his 14 points in the second half and made 5-of-7 shots on the day.
