Bryler Paige (17pts) and Brian McMahon (15pts) each had a big game to lead the men's basketball team to a 68-59 CUNYAC road win at CCNY on Tuesday night.
The two teams played a competitive first half, but the visiting Bearcats broke open a tie at 19 with a 12-4 run in the final four minutes to build a 31-23 lead at the break.
They controlled the action in the second half by building up a double-digit advantage to lead by as much as 15 points on three occasions for the win. The team is now 17-5 overall and 13-1 in the CUNYAC.
Chimaechi Ekekeugbor, the CUNYAC and ECAC Metro Player of the Week, finished with 13 points.
Nasseh Salem and Anthony Lewis had 14 points each for the Beavers.
Baruch will return home to the ARC Arena for a 7:30pm CUNYAC home contest on Friday, February 13, against the College of Staten Island.
