The Baruch College Bearcats suffered their first conference loss of the season on Sunday afternoon against the Cardinals of York College in Jamaica, New York.

The Bearcats' defense did not allow a field goal by the Cardinals in the final four minutes, but they could not match their defensive intensity on the offensive end by tying a season-low 34 percent shooting (17-for-50) to suffer their first CUNYAC loss.

Ryan Markoeand Bryler Paigeled the team with 10 points each. Granville Gittensgrabbed 11 rebounds and blocked three shots.

Ryan St. John led the home team with 11 points (3-for-5 3fg).

The Bearcats will continue their schedule on Tuesday, February 10, with a 7:00 pm CUNYAC contest at The City College of New York.
