NORTH MANCHESTER, IND. – Manchester University received another set of three double-figure efforts to highlight its season finale Saturday, Feb. 22.

Sophomore guard Brady Dolezal (Tipton, Ind.) and junior forward Jon Thompson (Rushville, Ind.), each concluding impressive 2013-14 campaigns, tallied 19 points each, while freshman guard Blake Brouwer (Elkhart, Ind.) chipped in 15 points. Dolezal was strong from the field (six-of-10) and at the charity stripe (seven-of-eight) while dishing out a team-high three assists, and Thompson hit 50 percent from the field (six-of-12) during an afternoon in which he grabbed a team-best six rebounds. Brouwer added three three-pointers to his day's work.

Hanover (17-8 overall, 13-5 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference) managed to overcome the Black and Gold's three-pronged attack. A 22-8 run over the opening nine minutes gave them enough cushion to leave Stauffer-Wolfe Arena with an 80-71 win. Manchester University (5-20, 4-14 HCAC) did climb within seven at two intervals in the second half but was countered with made buckets on HC's ensuing possessions.

NOTES: Dolezal concluded the season with 14 double-digit scoring games in 17 appearances. He ended as the team's scoring leader by a tenth of a point over Thompson (16.8 – 16.7 ppg) … Thompson was just as efficient in regards to double-figure contests. He produced 11 in 15 games played … Brouwer wrapped up his first season in an MU uniform with his seventh multiple three-point basket game as his point total equaled a single-game season high … Guard Jake Butler (South Bend, Ind.) was recognized prior to tip-off. He is the only senior on the 2013-14 roster.
