LYNCHBURG, Va. - Freshman Trever Hyatt's three-pointer with 11 seconds left gave Guilford College a 68-66 comeback win at Lynchburg College Wednesday. The Quakers trailed by nine with 8:24 to play before rallying for the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) win.
Guilford (17-7, 11-4 ODAC) is now 8-1 in games determined by four or fewer points.
Hyatt shot six-of-nine from three-point range and led all scorers with 24 points, one shy of his career high. Jake Hopkins scored eight of his 14 points in the second half and paced the Quakers with eight rebounds.
Guilford hosts nationally ranked Virginia Wesleyan Saturday at 4 pm in the Quakers' home- and regular-season finale.
