Marymount Men’s Basketball Falls at Salisbury

Salisbury, Md. – Marymount University's men's basketball team fell 62-56 to Capital Athletic Conference foe Salisbury on Wednesday night.  The Saints drop to 15-9 overall and 7-8 in league play.

Jesse Konadu led the Saints with 12 points while JC Hoellich and Reed Scott added 11 each.

Konadu hauled in nine rebounds while Hoellich and Scott chipped in seven each.

Marymount took an early 5-0 lead and held the Sea Gulls (13-11, 8-7 CAC) scoreless until the 11:58 mark.  Salisbury responded to tie things up at 11-11 while eventually taking a 22-21 lead before the Saints took a 31-29 lead into halftime.

Coming out of the break, the Saints led for the first six minutes before SU retook the advantage up 40-38 with 13:36 to play.  Marymount tied the game at 40-40 but an 8-0 run from the home team gave SU a lead that the Blue and White couldn't pull closer than three from down the stretch.

Dominic Milburn and Tim Harwood led Salisbury with 13 points each.
