The visiting Bearcats hit 12 three-pointers and received 26 points from the bench to record a 67-45 road victory against Medgar Evers College on Tuesday night in Brooklyn, New York.
Raymond De La Cruz led the team with 19 points (5-8 3fg) and Matt Feldman (6-7 fg) scored a career-high 17 points, along with five steals and three assists, to help record the important road victory for a 13-11 team record and 9-6 mark in the CUNYAC.
The Bearcats led throughout the contest, but needed a game-busting 15-0 run midway through the second half to turn a close contest into a rout.
They connected on 8-of-13 three-pointers during the second half and used solid defensive pressure to record 11 steals for the victory at the Cougar Cave.
The Cougars, who struggled shooting 1-of-19 from three-point range, were led in the scoring column by Khalid Yousef with 20 points, seven rebounds and two steals.
The men's basketball team will finish their regular season schedule on Saturday, February 15, with a 3:00 pm home contest in the ARC Arena against the Beavers of CCNY.
The men's basketball program will host their annual alumni game at 1:00 pm.
