Conner Nord and Dylan Stewart each scored 16 points as No. 15-ranked St. Thomas scored an 89-40 home win over Macalester in Wednesday night's MIAC men's basketball play at Schoenecker Arena.
The first-place Tommies (13-3 overall, 11-1 MIAC) kept a half-game lead over St. Olaf atop the conference standings. Thirteen different players scored for UST, which recorded 12 3-pointers and had a 38-25 rebounding advantage.
The Toms play Saturday at Carleton.
