Rams Shutdown Mount Saint Vincent in Skyline Win

Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's basketball team earned a 78-57 Skyline Conference win over The College of Mount Saint Vincent this evening in Farmingdale, N.Y.

The Rams (8-4, 4-1) led 40-24 with 17:20 remaining, before an 11-1 Dolphins run over the next 3:21 cut the deficit to 41-35. Farmingdale State answered with an 11-3 run to quickly bring the lead back to 12, 52-38 with 9:39 left to play. The Rams held a double-digit lead the remainder of the game as they earned the home victory.

Sophomore guard Wilson Molina (Queens, N.Y.) scored a game-high 17 points and added six assists, while senior guard Jonathan Annan (Staten Island, N.Y.) tallied 14 points and seven assists for Farmingdale State. Senior guard Terence Henderson (Bronx, N.Y.) scored 11 points and grabbed nine boards, while seniors Timothy Johnson (Queens, N.Y.) and Curtis Williams (Stony Brook, N.Y.) each had 10 points. Senior center Donald Lawes (Queens, N.Y.) recorded 10 rebounds and a game-high five blocks.

Mount Saint Vincent (1-11, 0-6) was led by freshman guard Jesse Regina (Staten Island, N.Y.) who scored a team-leading 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting.

The Rams next will travel to Sage for a Skyline Conference game on Saturday, January 11th at 3:00 p.m.
