BABSON PARK, Mass. – Ryan Milne poured in a career-high 38 points, but Babson College built a five-point lead late in overtime and hung on for a 93-90 victory over No. 25 Colorado College on Monday afternoon.

Joe Flannery scored 34 points for the host Beavers, including a three-point play with 50 seconds remaining in the extra session to give them an 89-84 lead.

Milne drained his fifth three-pointer of the contest with 19 seconds to play, but Babson made three of four free throws during the final 10 ticks to escape with the victory.

After the Beavers took a 64-54 lead on a Kenny Ross jumper with 4:17 remaining in regulation, Milne took the game into his hands and scored 13 points during a 19-9 run. His long-range bomb knotted the score at 73-73 after 40 minutes.

It marked the third time in his career that Milne has scored more than 30 points in a game. His previous best of 36 occurred during last season's 76-61 victory at Centenary College.

The senior guard also dished out four assists to take over sole possession of second place on the program's all-time chart with 379.

Chris Lesnansky tied his career high with 27 points, making eight of 13 field-goal attempts and 11 of 13 free throws. He climbed two spots on the Colorado College's all-time scoring list and is now No. 25 with 847 points.

With five rebounds, the junior forward also became the 25th Tiger to record 400 or more.

Sophomore guard Justin Berardino led Colorado College with a game-high 10 rebounds, his second consecutive outing with double-digit boards.

John Wickey scored 14 points and grabbed six rebounds for Babson, which improved to 8-2 for the season. The Beavers also got 13 points from Sam Bohmiller and 12 from David Mack, while Ross was credited with 11 assists.

CC, which played its fourth overtime game of the season, slipped to 6-2 overall.
