BUFFALO, NY - In a game that saw 19 lead changes, the final shot would be the one that decided the game as the Mavericks dropped a (76-74) victory to SUNY Geneseo Monday night.

The first half was relatively close as both teams exchanged leads with no team leading by more than six points. Both teams grabbed 19 rebounds in the first half and the Mavericks would head to halftime down only 36-34.

The second half was a much different story. Both teams used big runs and controlled the tempo of the game at different times. Geneseo used an 18-8 run in the early part of the second half to build the 14 point lead which was the biggest in the game.

Only a few minutes later, the Mavericks would use a run of their own to get back into the game. Over a five minute span, the Mavs would go on a 15-1 run to tie the game at 57 with 8:11 to go. From there, it was back and forth right until the buzzer where the Knights would tip in a buzzer beater to beat the Mavericks with no time remaining.
