OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The Salisbury University men's basketball team finished the Hoopsville National Invitational Classic with an 83-72 loss against No. 19 Cabrini College Sunday afternoon on the campus of Stevenson University.

Senior Tim Harwood led the Salisbury attack with 16 points, going 5-for-10 from the field, including 2-of-5 from behind the arc. Freshman Charles Porter added 14 points, his highest total in maroon and gold.

The Sea Gulls (2-2) played Cabrini (3-0) tough, going into the break 37-37. Senior Brandyn Wilkerson scored each of his eight points in the first 20 minutes, leading Salisbury into halftime. Salisbury shot 50 percent, 14-of-28, in the first half, with the Cavaliers putting shots in at a 52 percent clip, going 13-for-25 in the first half.

Cabrini came out strong in the second half, outscoring the Sea Gulls 46-35 in the second half. The Sea Gulls pulled within one possession several times in the contest, the last being with 9:18 remaining in the contest when sophomore Kyle Savercool put home a layup.

Senior Dominic Milburn netted 10 points in 12 minutes off the bench for Salisbury.

Freshman Gordon Jeter was again the team's leading rebounder, bringing down seven boards and adding seven points. The Easton, Md., native is averaging a team-high 6.8 rebounds per game through his first four contests of his collegiate career.

Jon Miller led the Cavaliers with a game-high 24 points and 16 rebounds. Aaron Walton-Moss netted 21 points, with A.J. Picard adding 18.

For his effort over the weekend, Harwood was selected to the All-Tournament team. The Rockville, Md., native averaged 13.5 points over the two contests. Harwood went 9-for-20 over both contests, good for a 45 percent rate.

The Sea Gulls are off Thanksgiving week and will be back in action on Wednesday, December 4. Salisbury opens its conference schedule against No. 10 St. Mary's College of Maryland, with a tip-off scheduled for 7:30 p.m., at the Maggs Physical Activities Center.
