Marymount Men’s Basketball Overpowers Bard

Arlington, Va. – Marymount University's men's basketball team cruised past Bard on Saturday

afternoon, overwhelming the Raptors 104-46.  The Saints improve their record to 3-1 with the victory. 

The win marks the 27th game in program history in which the Saints have eclipsed 100 points, the most recent falling on February 14, 2007, in a five-overtime thriller.  The Saints last 100-point total in regulation came on January 12, 2003. 

The 58-point margin-of-victory also proves the third-largest in program history. 

Reed Scott posted his third double-double in as many games, chipping in 18 points and 11 rebounds.  Devin Morrow led the Saints with 19 points, while JC Hoellich added 15, and Antonio Rouse posted 13.

Morrow and Hoellich each hauled in six rebounds on the day.

Lamar Powell led the Raptors (2-2) with a game-high 21 points.

Marymount returns to action on Tuesday as it travels to Southern Virginia.  Tip-off is set for 3 p.m.
