Joshua Vital and Granville Gittens each scored 14 points to lead the Bearcats to a 68-49 road victory over the Maccabees of Yeshiva University on Thursday night in upper Manhattan.
The visiting Bearcats (3-1) led from start to finish and limited their opponent to under 50 points for the second straight game.
They managed to lead by as much as 22 points during the second half and used solid defense on every inch of the court to hold the Maccabees to 33 percent shooting (20-60).
The bench was a factor again with 28 points and the team used their athleticism by scoring 42 of their 69 points in the point.
Matt Feldman and Raymond De La Cruz each notched three steals. Brian McMahon had two blocked shots.
The Bearcats will return to action next Tuesday, November 26 on School Spirit Night against archrival Hunter College at 7:30 pm.
