PATCHOGUE, N.Y. – Mount Saint Mary College junior Joe Henain (Hopewell Junction, N.Y.) totaled 21 points, nine rebounds, and seven blocks to lead his team to an 81-58 victory over St. Joseph's College in Skyline play on Wednesday evening.  The Knights moved back above the .500 mark at 6-5 overall (3-2 Skyline) as the Golden Eagles fell to 3-9 (1-4 Skyline).

The Mount closed the first half on a 12-4 run and seemed poised for a rout as they carried a 41-28 advantage to the locker room.  But St. Joseph's made a push to get back into the game.  Trailing by 12 with 15:14 remaining, the Golden Eagles rattled off the next 10.  A three-pointer from junior Cody Loshen (Centereach, N.Y.) at the 13:14 mark cut the lead to just two at 52-50, Knights.

Junior Joe Stabach (Staten Island, N.Y.) answered with back-to-back buckets, one a two-pointer and one a three-pointer, to spark an 8-0 run for the Knights.  A three-point play from junior Chris Pisciotta (New Hyde Park, N.Y.) with 11:36 to go made it a ten-point game, 60-50.

The Golden Eagles got back to within single digits as the clock ticked under eight minutes, but Stabach and Pisciotta combined to answer once again.  Stabach's triple at the 7:18 mark made it a 12-point game and following a lengthy scoring drought, Pisciotta's two-pointer at 4:55 stretched it to 14.  Following a St. Joseph's dunk, the Knights closed the game on an 11-0 run to make the final score, 81-58.

Henain hit on 8-of-11 from the field for a game-high 21 points.  His seven blocks were a career high.  Stabach added 11 points and seven boards, while Pisciotta contributed 11 points and six boards.  Junior Donte Howell (Baldwin, N.Y.) also reached double figures with 11 points.

Junior Phil Calixte (Amityville, N.Y.) led the Golden Eagles with 14 points, while Loshen totaled 10 points and a team-high eight rebounds.

With alternating wins and losses through the team's first eleven games, the Knights will try to piece together their first winning streak on Saturday.  They'll host NYU-Poly in a 3:00 p.m. start at the Kaplan Center.
