Baruch Falls to John Jay (77-57)

The Baruch College Bearcats suffered a 77-57 CUNYAC road defeat to the Bloodhounds of John Jay College of Criminal Justice on Saturday evening at the Doghouse.

The Bloodhounds (5-1, 2-0 CUNYAC) led 35-30 at halftime and started the second half on a 13-2 run to lead 48-32 with 16:46 remaining.

The Bearcats were unable to rally during the second half shooting only 28 percent (8-29) to suffer their second road loss of the season.

Rob Goldstein led the visiting Bearcats (4-2, 1-1 CUNYAC) with 13 points, while Granville Gittenshad 10 points (6-6 FT) and six rebounds off the bench.

Jamar Harry led the Bloodhounds with a near double-double of 27 points (12-12 ft) and nine rebounds.

Baruch will return to action on Saturday, December 8, with a 5:00 pm CUNYAC home contest against CCNY. Prior to the game, the men's basketball program will host their annual alumni game.
