Bison bounce back with victory against SUNY Cobleskill

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Gallaudet University men's basketball team shook off a three-game losing skid with a solid 20-point win, 87-67, Sunday against SUNY Cobleskill in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) game at the Field House. This was the final game of a four-game homestand for the Bison.

Gallaudet (8-9, 6-3 NEAC South Division) picked up the much needed win with sound shooting and strong contributions from its seniors. The Bison were also strong inside as they outscored the Fighting Tigers 46-30 in the paint and held a huge advantage on second chance points, 20-5.

Senior guard Tony Tatum (Gardendale, Ala.) led the buff and blue with 18 points, eight rebounds, five assists and four steals. The final two totals were game-high marks. Tatum made 8 of 11 shots from the field. Senior forward Daniel Fava (Baltimore, Md.) recorded his first double-double as he matched his season-high point total with 14 and grabbed a season-high 12 rebounds. Senior guard Brandon McMillan (Frederick, Md.) was the third Bison in double figures as he tallied 17 points and five rebounds.
