Three days after scoring a career-high 18 points against Wittenberg, sophomore Andy Walsh tallied 20 points to help Wabash to a 79-51 win at Kenyon. The victory keeps the Little Giants in a tie for third place in the North Coast Athletic Conference standings with two games remaining in the regular season schedule.

Walsh connected on 7-of-12 shot attempts, with two three-pointers and four free throws, to finish with 20 points. Hehelped the Wabash bench outscore Kenyon 29-15.

"Andy has already shown he can be a tremendous outside shooter, but now he's also looking to score inside, as well," Wabash head coach Antoine Carpenter said. "He's provided a big lift for us coming off the bench and helps open up our offense for other players in addition to his ability to score."

The Little Giants held a six-point lead with six minutes remaining in the first half when seniors Derek Bailey, Aaron Zinnerman, and Brian Shelbourne took control of the game. Bailey nailed his third trey of the contest to give Wabash a 24-15 lead. The Little Giants then forced the first of three consecutive Kenyon (10-13, 4-10 NCAC) turnovers, with Shelbourne converting on the offensive end with a tear-drop shot in the lane. After a Bailey steal, Zinnerman took a pass from Shelbourne for an easy layup to push the lead to 13. A series of free throws by Bailey and Nicksic, along with a three-point basket from Jordan Surenkamp, stretched the advantage to 19 points. Wabash led 21 in the closing seconds of the half after a Zinnerman basket before Kenyon's Ikenna Nwadibia scored a put-back basket ahead of the buzzer to make it a 39-20 halftime advantage for the Little Giants.

"Bailey, Zinnerman, and Shelbourne got the team together after a timeout around that six-minute mark and really showed great leadership," Carpenter said. "They did what good seniors are supposed to do --- take over a game at both end of the floor and find a way to help the five players on the court to play as a team."

Wabash outscored Kenyon 40-31 over the final 20 minutes to cruise to the 18-point win.Walsh tallied 11 of the Little Giants' 40 second-half points, while Zinnerman added eight points, including a flip shot over his shoulder while sitting on the ground in an attempt to avoid a shot clock violation.

Zinnerman scored 14 points, while Bailey tossed in 13.

Nicksic, who also tallied 14 points, combined with Colten Craigin to shut down Brian Lebowitz, the Lords' leading scorer heading into the contest. Lebowitz averaged 16 points a game coming into the contest, but was held to 1-of-5 shooting with three free throws for five points. Craigin added a basket, a blocked shot, and a steal. Nicksic grabbed five boards, tallied three blocked shots and two steals, and handed out one assist. Shelbourne finished with a team-high 10 rebounds, narrowly missing his second double-double against Kenyon this season with a nine-point scoring effort.

Nicksic and Craigin played for injured starter Nick Curosh, who suffered a shoulder injury in Wednesday night's 55-49 win over conference-leader Wittenberg.

"Pete and Colten did a great job defensively inside for us today," Carpenter said. "They have worked with Curosh all season long, and have really learned from someone I believe is the best post defender in the NCAC.

"Pete provided some big points inside for us. He has to go against Curosh in practice. That has given him a lot of confidence on the offensive end of the floor, and it showed today.

Nwadibia led Kenyon with 17 points.
