CHICAGO -- Three New York University players combined for 62 points as the 23rd-ranked Violets defeated the University of Chicago 81-71 in University Athletic Association men's basketball play Friday night at the Ratner Athletics Center.
Game Summary
- NYU (13-1 overall, 3-1 UAA) jumped out to a 13-2 lead and remained in front the rest of the way.
- The Violets led 41-33 at the half, then outscored Chicago 21-11 during the first 5:28 of the second period to take a 62-44 advantage.
