POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (December 3, 2011) -- The Vassar College men's basketball team raced out to a 38-4 lead 11 minutes into the first half en route to a 79-13 win over Sarah Lawrence College on Saturday at the Athletics and Fitness Center.

The Brewers led 59-6 at intermission. Vassar shot 57.6 from the field and placed 14 of its 15 players in the scoring column.

The Brewers (3-2) host the City College of New York on Tuesday, December 6, at 7:00 p.m. the Athletics and Fitness Center. The Gryphons (2-6) face Vaughn College on the road on January 20 at 7:00 p.m.

Vassar freshman Johnny Mrlik led all scorers with 13 points. Vassar sophomore Ricky Winkeller pulled down a game-high seven rebounds.
