Colby-Sawyer knocked down 16 three pointers in the game. The team entered the game seventh in the country averaging 10.2 makes per game. The 16 treys are the second most in school history and the most in a game since February 20, 1994.
Holland scored 20 points in 12 minutes and made six three pointers. Thok was 7-11 from the floor in 17 minutes. Senior James Tobin (Brookline, N.H.) had 12 points and six boards, while senior Will Bardaglio rounded out the double-figure scorers with 11 points. Senior Dan Pendergast (Canton, Mass.) connected on a pair of three pointers off the bench. Senior Ian Davis (Rochester, N.H.) added two points, three rebounds, and a pair of blocks in five minutes.
Green Mountain was led by freshman Jack Hepburn (Miller Place, N.Y.). He scored 11 points and brought down five rebounds. Freshman Jakerion Ales (Batesville, Miss.) added seven points and a game-high eight rebounds.
After trailing in the first few moments of the game, Colby-Sawyer would separate themselves from the visitors for good. The Chargers held a 46-14 lead at halftime and turned 14 Green Mountain mistakes into 20 points. Thok scored 18 of his 20 points in the frame.
Colby-Sawyer led by as much as 51 in the second half thanks to 54% shooting from the floor. The Charger bench outscored the Eagles' bench 46-8 for the game.
