Las Vegas, NV: The Ramapo College men's basketball team defeated Ursinus College today, 83-58 at the D3hoops.com Classic at South Point Arena. The Roadrunners improve to 9-3 while the Bears drop to 3-8.

The Roadrunners were led by Will Sanborn with 27 points as he sank seven three pointers in the game. Jermaine Emanuel led the team with seven assists and posted 23 points while sinking five of six shots from behind the three point line. Garret Thiel added seven points, five rebounds and three assists while Stephon Treadwell added six points and four rebounds.

Ursinus led early, taking its biggest lead at 5-2 with 18:04 left to go. Ramapo would regain the lead shortly thereafter, but, Ursinus kept it close before Ramapo extended the lead to double digits at 24-12 with 7:38 left on a layup by Rich Grant. The Bears got back to within nine twice, the last time on a basket by freshman guard Trey Harry with 1:21 left in the first half to make the score 38-29.

The Roadrunners led 43-29 heading into the locker room. Ramapo scored the first nine points of the second half. The Roadrunners scored 25 points off of turnovers, and 26 points in the paint in the win.

Ramapo returns to action tomorrow at the 2011 D3hoops.com Classic when they take on Wesley College at 10:00pm (EST). Live stats and live video links are on our website at ramapoathletics.com.
