FROSTBURG, Md. - In his return to the starting lineup, Wesley College's Chris Douglas (Landover, Md./Jericho Prep Academy) poured in a game-high 21 points as the Wolverines kept their win streak alive with a 79-70 win at Frostburg State.

The junior point guard had left a game last weekend with an injury and was limited to just 17 minutes in Wednesday's win over Stevenson.  Any doubts as to his condition were put to rest in the second half against the Bobcats, when he scored 14 of his game-high to help seal the win.

Not to be outdone, junior Sean McAndrew (Lanoka Harbor, N.J./Lacey Township) poured in a career-best 18 points on 7-of-10 shooting in the game. 

The duo led a contingent of five Wesley (15-6, 11-1 CAC) players who scored in double figures as Wesley ran its win streak to 10 games. 

The first half featured seven lead changes, the final of which came on a bucket by McAndrew with 1:59 left that helped the Wolverines to a 32-31 lead at the intermission.

Wesley used an 18-4 run early in the second half to take a 55-39 lead with 12:02 left in the game.  That momentum quickly shifted the opposite direction as the Bobcats (9-13, 4-9 CAC) responded with an 18-5 run of their own that made it 60-57 with 7:28 to go after a bucket by Maurice Williams.

The Wolverines weathered the storm and led by as many as 11 and never allowed Frostburg State closer than five the rest of the way, hitting 8-of-10 free throws in the final minute to ice the game.

Douglas hit 11-of-13 free throws in the game and also went 5-of-10 from the floor. 

Darrell Johnson (New Castle, Del./Howard) scored seven of his 14 points during Wesley's early second half run.  Paul Reynolds (Smyrna, Del./Smyrna) netted a dozen points and tied Kevin Johnson (Smyrna, Del./Smyrna) for the team lead with eight rebounds.  Rudy Thomas (Milton, Del./Sussex Tech) continued his strong play off the bench with 10 points.

For Frostburg State, Williams finished with 17 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks.  Steven Ogg came off the bench to hit 5-of-7 shots on his way to 13 points.  DeSean Antoine had 12 points and four assists, while Brian Anderson also reached double figures with 10 points. 

The Wolverines committed just nine turnovers in the contest and held a 38-22 advantage in scoring in the paint.

Wesley's win streak is its longest since a school record 11-game win streak in 2008-09.

The team remains a half game off the pace in the Capital Athletic Conference standings as St. Mary's (Md.) defeated Marymount (Va.) to improve to 12-1.
