The Millikin men's basketball team dropped a home contest to North Park 63-55 on Jan. 29.

            The first half was a back-and-forth contest with both teams holding an advantage.  North Park lead at the half 32-30.  The difference in the game was at the start of the second half when the Vikings opened with a 10-2 run.  Millikin battled for the entire second half pulling to within three points with just under eight minutes left to play, but Millikin could never catch the Vikings.

            North Park shot 49 percent from the field while Millikin shot 42 percent.

North Park out rebounded Millikin 29-23.

            Kyle Taylor led Millikin with 13 points and seven rebounds.  Jacob Shasteen had 10 for Millikin.

            Clayton Cahill had 14 points to lead North Park. 

            Millikin will host Elmhurst on Wednesday, Feb. 2 at 7:30 p.m.
