LANGHORNE, PA - Playing in one of the most historic arenas in the nation, the Crimson Eagles couldn't capture the magic of the Palestra during an 89-62 loss to Cabrini College in CSAC action Saturday afternoon.

The Cavaliers - the top-ranked team in the conference - used 21 offensive rebounds and turned 27 PBU turnovers into 35 points to help the blue and white manufacture the 27 point victory, their second largest of the season.

Cabrini jumped out to a 17-6 start in the opening 10 minutes and never looked back, cementing their second win in the legendary facility in three years.

Following a rocking opening period that saw the Crimson Eagles go down 45-24 by the break, PBU picked up their offensive efficiency in the second frame, logging 38 points over the final 20 minutes. However, Cabrini's well-balanced attack proved to be too difficult to overcome for the visitors as the Cavaliers saw 13 players reach the scoring column.

The Crimson Eagles received 12 points, 13 rebounds, six blocks, three steals and three assists from rookie forward Jeff Bishop while Adam Derus contributed 13 points in 32 minutes of action. Claude Chalk added 11 while senior guard Brett Zamroz added 10.

The Crimson Eagles will get back into action during their first home contest of the second semester on Modnay, going up against Centenary College in the Mason Activity Center at 8:00 pm.
