Senior forward Sam Herrick (Duxbury, Mass.) scored four straight points and freshman forward Derek Mayo (Casco, Maine) cut the lead to two before junior forward Matt Harte (Troy, N.Y.) hit a layup to tie the game at 8-all with 13:05 left in the opening stanza.  After the Camels hit one of two free throws, Harte gave Wentworth what would be their only lead of the night, 10-9, with just under 12:00 left.

Harrigan drained a three pointer to begin a 9-0 Connecticut College run which would give the hosts an 18-10 lead with 5:36 left in the half.  The lead would be extended to as many as nine before a junior guard Eric Prue (Auburn, Maine) three pointer and jumper by classmate Adam Dombrowski (Dunstable, Mass.) trimmed the lead to 21-17 with just under three minutes left.  The Camels would lead, 26-19, at the break.

A basket by sophomore forward Corey Therriault (Auburn, Maine) with 16:18 remaining in the game cut the lead to 30-26, but the Camels responded with an 8-0 run to up the lead to 12.  After Herrick converted a three-point play to bring Wentworth's deficit down to single digits, Connecticut College used an 8-4 spurt to build up a 15-point lead with 10:32 left.

Mahoney and freshman guard Jethro Anilus (Stamford, Conn.) each chipped in with nine points for Connecticut College, while freshman forward Taylor Hanson (Saint Paul, Minn.) had nine rebounds and five assists in the win.  The Camels shot 14-for-26 from the floor in the second half and held Wentworth to 32.9 percent shooting from the floor, including holding the Leopards to 2-for-22 from behind the arc.

Herrick scored a game-high 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds, while Prue finished with nine points and five assists.  Mayo scored seven points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and had four steals in the loss.
