LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- Chris Roets led four Lake Forest College players in double figures with 18 points as the host Foresters defeated the University of Chicago 76-58 in non-conference men's basketball action Tuesday night.

Lake Forest (1-1) jumped out to an early 19-5 lead before building a 43-26 advantage at the intermission.

The Foresters then outscored Chicago (1-3) 11-4 during the first 3:33 of the second half.

Nate Bateman finished with 15 points for the Foresters, while Jeff Beck and Drew Grennell added 14 and 12 points, respectively.

Matt Johnson led the Maroons with 14 points, matching his season high. Freshman Sam Gage came off the bench to add 11 points.
