ATN: Homecoming coaches

Dagan Nelson (left) and Kendra Hassell have returned to places they know well with the hopes of rejuvenating the NYU men's and Hardin-Simmons women's programs respectively.

May is a time for celebration and then hibernation at most colleges. Graduation ceremonies are followed by the annual ritual of college students moving out of their dorms and back home for the summer.

This offseason many coaches are also on the move and in some cases, moving back home. That’s the case for both of our guests on this month’s podcast.  We spoke with Dagan Nelson who returned to the New York University program where he once coached as an assistant and Kendra Hassell who has come back to the Hardin-Simons program she led to national prominence as an All-American player.

You can also track all the coaching moves throughout the offseason with our Coaching Carousel.
