More news about: LeTourneau

Cassi (Little) Rozanski played four years at Texas-Dallas and coached seven years at Texas-Tyler. After two seasons away from the conference, she gets her chance to be a head coach in the ASC at LeTourneau.

University Director of Athletics Terri Deike announced the move on Thursday.

"I have known Cassi and her family for years and had the pleasure of working with her in the women's basketball program at UT Tyler," said Deike in the LeTourneau release. "She is a person of great faith, integrity and family ideals that will translate well into success at LeTourneau."

Rozanski was an assistant to Deike on the Texas-Tyler coaching staff for two seasons before Deike became LeTourneau's Director of Athletics. Rozanski spent five more seasons on the Patriots' coaching staff including the 2013-14 season when Texas-Tyler reached the NCAA Tournament sectional semifinals.

She was also a four-year starter at Texas-Dallas from 2002 to 2006. When she graduated in 2006, she was the Comets' career leader for blocks, rebounds, free throws, field goal percentage and field goals.

After leaving Texas-Tyler, she spent one season as coordinator for men's basketball operations at Division I Texas-Rio Grande Valley where her husband was a coach and then spent the last year as an admisssions counselor at Rogers State University in Oklahoma.

Rozanski replaces Leslie Reineker who stepped down from the position. Reineker went 38-41 in three seasons with the Yellow Jackets.

LeTourneau finished 13-13, 10-6 in the ASC last season.
