Women's basketball is celebrating the 35th anniversary of the NCAA championships this season, with the Division I, Division II and Division III championship game all to be held in Indianapolis. The D-III and D-II title games will be held Monday, April 4, at Bakers Life Fieldhouse, the same floor where the D-I title game will be played the following day.

The first four rounds of games will be held as usual, on campus sites. But the national semifinals will still be held at a predetermined site, as they have been since 1999. This year, those games will be held at Capital University, in Columbus, Ohio.

Capital is right in the heart of Division III country. It's within the 500-mile driving radius of schools as far east as Rowan, as far west as Augustana and as far south as Sewanee. Plus, it's just 120 miles from Thomas More, the defending national champion and unanimous No. 1 team in the D3hoops.com preseason Top 25.

Similar to in 2012, when the Division III men's basketball championship game was held in conjunction with the other two divisions, there will be a 16-day gap between the semifinals and championship game.

The Capital Center seats 2,100. Capital University previously hosted the Division III semifinals in 1995, the year the Crusaders won the second of their back-to-back championships.
