December 7, 2024 Men’s Basketball Falls to Cortland 68-67 in Road SUNYAC Matchup CORTLAND, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State men's basketball team fell to Cortland in a nail-biting State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) matchup at Whitney T. Corey '43 Gymnasium on Saturday evening. After two free throws put the Cardinals up by four late in the second half, Cortland finished the second half with five straight points that ended with a three-pointer at the buzzer, securing the Red Dragons the 64-63 win.
December 6, 2024 Men’s Basketball Outlasts Morrisville in Overtime, Winning SUNYAC Opener 91-80 MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – After a clutch three-pointer from senior guard Franklin Infante (East Rockaway, N.Y. / East Rockaway) tied the game with less than 30 seconds to go sending it into overtime, the Plattsburgh State men's basketball team outscored the Mustangs 20-9 to win their first State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) contest of the season 91-80 over Morrisville. Senior guard Kevin Tabb (Brooklyn, N.Y. / Thomas Jefferson) led the way for the Cardinals with a game-high 22 points, six rebounds, five steals, and four assists.
December 1, 2024 Men’s Basketball Wins Sig Makofski Invitational Consolation Game Against VTSU-Lyndon SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State men's basketball team's high-scoring performance led them to a 100-89 victory over Vermont State University (VTSU) Lyndon in the Sig Makofski Invitational consolation game on Sunday afternoon at Viniar Athletic Center. Plattsburgh had five players reach double figures led by senior guard Kevin Tabb (Brooklyn, N.Y. / Thomas Jefferson) who earned Sig Makofski Invitational All-Tournament Team honors for his performance over the weekend. Tabb had 21 points, six steals, four assists, and four rebounds in the win over VTSU-Lyndon.
November 30, 2024 Men’s Basketball Drops Opening Game of Sig Makofski Invitational to Colby College SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State men's basketball team dropped the opening game of the Sig Makofski Invitational hosted by Union College on Saturday afternoon at Viniar Athletic Center. Despite a career day for Kareem Welch (Brooklyn, N.Y. / Thomas Jefferson) distributing the ball with a Plattsburgh State career-high and a game-high 12 assists, a strong second half for Colby led them to a 100-70 victory as the Cardinals fell in the non-conference matchup. 
November 27, 2024 Men’s Basketball Drops Exhibition to University of Vermont BURLINGTON, Vt. – The Plattsburgh State men's basketball team dropped an exhibition against Division I University of Vermont on Wednesday night at Patrick Gymnasium. After keeping it close going into halftime and for most of the second half, the Catamounts went on a run with less than four minutes to go, allowing them to pull away for the 78-55 win.  
November 25, 2024 Men’s Basketball Falls to Middlebury in Non-Conference Road Matchup MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – The Plattsburgh State men's basketball team fell to Middlebury in non-conference action on the road on Monday night at Pepin Gymnasium. After going into halftime down double digits, Middlebury continued to shoot well in the second half making the deficit too much for the Cardinals to erase as Plattsburgh fell 90-60.
