    BOSTON, Mass. – The Emmanuel College Men’s Basketball Team pulled out a hard-fought 81-77 win over Lasell College in the Jean Yawkey Center on Thursday night. This was the second home Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) win in a row for the Saints, who improve to 3-9 overall and 3-2 in the league. Lasell drops to 1-12 on the season and 0-6 in the GNAC with the loss.

    The Emmanuel College Men's Basketball Team cruised to a 69-57 win over Norwich University on Saturday afternoon in the opening game of a Great Northeast Athletic Conference men's and women's double-header played in the Jean Yawkey Center. This was Emmanuel's second-straight conference victory. With the win, the Saints improve to 11-12 overall and pick up their tenth GNAC win of the season, at 10-6 in the conference. This was the sixth-straight loss for the Cadets, who now drop to 5-17 on the season and 4-12 in league play.

    BOSTON, Mass. - Emmanuel College suffered an 88-71 setback at the hands of Albertus Magnus College in Great Northeast Athletic Conference men's basketball action played in the Jean Yawkey Center on Thursday night. The Falcons got 32 points from sophomore guard Darius Watson (New Britain, Conn.) to extend their win streak to eleven games, improving to 16-1 on the season. Albertus remains undefeated in conference play at 11-0. The loss drops the Saints to 7-11 overall and 6-5 in league play.
  • JACKSON NOTCHES 100TH CAREER WIN, AS SAINTS TOP LIONS

    Emmanuel Head Coach Jamahl Jackson earned his 100th career win on Saturday afternoon, when he led the Saints Men's Basketball Team to a 64-48 win over cross-town rival Emerson College. The Great Northeast Athletic Conference contest was the second half of a GNAC double-header played in Emmanuel's Jean Yawkey Center. This was the third-straight GNAC win for the host Saints, who improved to 7-9 on the season and 6-3 in conference play. The loss dropped Emerson to 1-15 overall and 1-8 in the league.

    The Emmanuel College Men's Basketball Team dropped a 56-51 decision to Saint Joseph's College (Me.) on Saturday afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action played in the Jean Yawkey Center. This was the first conference game of the second semester for the Saints, who picked up their first GNAC loss of the year, falling to 4-7 on the season and 3-1 in the league. Saint Joe's improved to 7-3, 3-1 GNAC with the win.

    Emmanuel College led end to end in an 88-79 men's basketball win over Johnson & Wales University on Saturday afternoon in the Jean Yawkey Center. The conference match-up was the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) opener for both teams. The Saints, who had been on a three-game slide coming into the weekend, picked up the much-needed win and improved to 2-3 on the season and 1-0 GNAC play. The loss dropped the Wildcats to 1-5 overall and 0-1 in the league.

    The Emmanuel College Men's Basketball Team dropped a 79-46 decision to the 10th-ranked Engineers of Massachusetts Institute of Technology in a non-conference game played in the Jean Yawkey Center on Tuesday night. The win boosted MIT to 4-0 on the year, while the Saints fell to 1-2 overall.

    BOSTON, Mass. - Junior forward Xavier Everson (Rochester, N.Y.) netted a pair of free throws with under one second remaining while also recording a double-double of 17 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Emmanuel College Saints to a 66-64 victory over Wheaton College Friday evening at the Jean Yawkey Center in the opening round of the 2011 Emmanuel College Saints Invitational. With the victory, the Saints improve to 1-0 on the year while the loss drops the Lyons to 1-1.

    BOSTON, Mass. – The Emmanuel College Men’s Basketball Team suffered a tough 91-81 loss to Johnson & Wales University on Saturday afternoon in the Jean Yawkey Center. This was the last regular season contest for both squads. The Saints entered the contest needing a win to possibly secure a bid to the GNAC post-season tournament, but came up short and finished the season at 6-19 overall and 5-13 in the league. With the win, JWU improved to 16-8 on the season and 13-4 in GNAC play. Emmanuel’s senior co-captains Tyrone Buchanan (Detroit, Mich.) and Tony Carter-Hill (Baltimore, Md.) were honored prior to the start of the game.
