Mia Castillo Notches 4th Career Triple-Double, Bearcats 3-0 in CUNYAC

The Baruch women's basketball team went on the road Friday night to record a 69-37 victory at CCNY.

Mia Castillo had another monster game by notching her fourth career triple-double with 21 points, 16 rebounds, and 10 assists. She missed a rare quadruple-double by one with nine steals.

CCNY started strong leading 4-3 after the first minute, but the Bearcats scored the next 16 points to lead 19-4 after the fourth quarter en route to winning and going to 3-0 in the CUNYAC standings.

The visiting Bearcats hit nine 3-pointers this evening and used strong defense to limit the Beavers to 27 percent (14-for-52) shooting.

Elissa Leung totaled 15 points, seven rebounds and six assists, while Precious Mitchell had a career-high with 12 points to go along with five rebounds and four steals,

Madison Thornton-Lewis scored a career-high nine points, four rebounds and two steals off the bench.

Kasia Morrison led the Beavers with 16 points and seven steals.
