HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Anchorwomen found themselves trailing, 14-11, after the first 10 minutes of play. Graduate student guard Sophia Guerrier (Waltham, Mass.) scored eight out of the 11 points for the hosts.
• RIC would hit six three-pointers in the second quarter, with Booth and junior guard Madison Medbury (Scituate, R.I.) knocking down two apiece, to put the Anchorwomen up, 39-28, at halftime.
• The Bears would close the gap in the third quarter, much in part to RIC's shooting woes as the Anchorwomen went 4-for-17 from the field in the third frame. After 30 minutes, the Anchorwomen still found themselves ahead by five, 49-44.
• In the final five minutes of the game, RIC would go on a 12-0 run to put the game on ice.
