Duffy's three pulled Montclair State within 39-36 late in the third before the Profs started its scoring stretch. A three from Kristina Johnson followed by a bucket from Kate Herlihy before the buzzer made it an eight-point advantage. Later in the fourth during that scoring run, Savanna Holt sunk back-to-back triples to help extend the lead.

NJCU earned the #1 playoff seed with Kean getting #2. Both teams receive first-round byes. Saturday's other first-round matchup pits William Paterson at TCNJ. The semifinals take place on Wednesday, February 22nd with the championship on Saturday, the 25th.
