WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Connecticut College women's basketball team fell by a 62-37 final in its season finale against Williams College on Sunday afternoon at Chandler Gymnasium.

The Camels hung close in the first half but couldn't bounce back after being outscored 14-4 in the third quarter. Rebecca Oberman-Levine (Hamden, Conn.) led Conn with seven points, 10 rebounds and three blocks, and Jaycie Rojik (Scituate, Mass.) finished with six points and six boards in her final collegiate game.

In the first three minutes of the contest, Conn scored on three straight possessions to open up a 7-2 lead. Abby Ilusorio (San Diego, Calif.) got things started with a layup and Oberman-Levine followed with a jumper, and a three-pointer by Aislinn McMahon (Andover, Mass.) capped the stretch as the Camels enjoyed the early lead.

Williams fired back with a 13-2 run—which included a go-ahead three by Devin Biesbrock—and never trailed again. Biesbrock accounted for nine points during the stretch, which left the Ephs with a 15-9 advantage in the waning minutes of the quarter.

The two sides played an even second period until the Ephs closed the half with a 6-0 run to lead 34-23 at the break. Biesbrock led all scorers with 12 points at intermission.

In the third quarter, Williams used a 10-0 spurt to put the game out of reach. The Ephs took a 48-27 lead into the final period and never looked back. Biesbrock finished with 12 points while Maddy Mandyck added a double-double of 12 points and 14 rebounds.

Conn College ends the season with an overall record of 7-16 (1-9 NESCAC).
