The Wolves came out with an aggressive offensive game plan, slashing against the Golden Flyer defense. It paid benefits as the Wolves took a 6-4 lead early in the game following a driving layup by Julia Bauder. Nazareth tightened their defense, however. The Golden Flyers scored the final nine points of the first to lead 13-6.

Keuka College switched their styles as the deep ball factored into the second. A three by Sydney Brown opened the scoring in the quarter. Following a Nazareth layup, Brown hit another three, and Gianna Padula (Kenmore, N.Y. / Cardinal O'Hara) followed that with three of her own to tie the game at 15-15. In total, Keuka College had 12 points in the quarter on four three-pointers. Nazareth had an answer for Keuka, however, as the Golden Flyers had 15 in the frame and led 28-18 at the half.

The Golden Flyers pulled away in the third. Nazareth scored the first 25 points of the second half to build a 53-18 lead. A put-back layup by Megan Brown (Middleburgh, N.Y. / Middleburgh) snapped the drought with 1:32 left in the quarter. Nazareth carried a 53-22 lead into the final quarter.

Nazareth saw the game out in the fourth. Meaghan McGwin (Rochester, N.Y. / Hilton) scored four in the final frame for the Wolves, but Nazareth outscored Keuka 18-13 on their way to the 71-35 victory.
