The Baruch College Bearcats lost 83-47 to the Cougars of Kean University on Friday night in Union, New Jersey.
Kean advances to play Stevens in Saturday's Kean Classic Championship at 3:00 p.m. The Bearcats will play Eastern Connecticut State University in the consolation game at 1:00 p.m.
The two teams started slow and only combined for 17 total points after the first quarter, but the Cougars outscored the visiting Bearcats 28-10 in the second quarter to take control in the home win.
The Bearcats struggled shooting 30 percent (14-for-47), while the Cougars shot 44 percent (33-for-75).
Elissa Leung and Jessica Baldemor scored 10 points each.
Mia Castillo narrowly missed a double-double with nine points and 12 rebounds.
Brittany Graff led Kean with 18 points.
