WINCHESTER, Va. – Miracle Walters scored a game-high 20 points and helped Guilford College hold off Shenandoah University, 58-52, for a road Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) basketball victory Saturday. Walters made 9-of-12 shots from the floor in her third 20-point game of the season. The win salvaged a split of the season series between the teams.

Back-to-back Jordan Sondrol baskets brought the Hornets (15-8, 11-5 ODAC) to within 41-35 with seven and a half minutes left in regulation. The teams traded scores for the next six minutes before a Sondrol triple with 63 seconds remaining trimmed Guilford's lead to 49-46. The Quakers converted five of six free throws and got a Walters layup in the final 26 seconds to preserve their fifth win in six games.
