FREDERICK, Md.- The Hood College women's basketball team dropped a close one to the Lebanon Valley Dutchmen by a score of 69-61.

• Lebanon Valley took a six-point lead but two more long balls by Tien tied the game 13-13 after one quarter.
• The teams traded baskets in the second period but LVC held on to a three-point margin at the break, 31-28.
• A jumper by Pitt at 9:01 got Hood to within one point at 33-32.
• The Dutchmen led 53-47 heading into the final quarter of play.
• Four points from Savoy to start the fourth cut the deficit to two.
• LVC took its largest lead of the game at 10 from a layup by Anne Lehr with just under a minute and a half remaining.
