LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University women's basketball team bounced back from a loss on Wednesday by scoring a season high 88 points in a win over Marian at home.

Benedictine got off to a slow start and did not take the lead until a three-pointer from Britney Pitzer made the score 8-7 with 5:37 to go in the opening quarter

MaKayli Vann put Benedictine ahead by double figures at 19-9 with 3:35 left in the quarter and Benedictine led 23-12 after one
Marian hung around in the second quarter and a three from Reggie Much made the score 43-27 at the half
D'Asia Williams scored on a layup midway through the third to put Benedictine in front 54-34
Alex Fanning opened the scoring in the fourth to kick off a 7-0 run as Benedictine began to pull away, opening a 30-point lead halfway through the frame en route to the win
