WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — The Keuka College Women's Basketball team allowed a season-low 39 points in defeating Penn College 59-39 in a North Eastern Athletic Conference game on Sunday.

Jariah Johnson (New York, N.Y. / Frederick Douglas Academy) recorded her fifth double-double of the season for Keuka College (10-3, 5-0 NEAC). Lauren Anten (Rochester, N.Y. / Hilton) led the Wolves with 18 points on Sunday. Sophomore Brianna Legacy (Bennington, Vt. / Mount Anthony Union) added 12 points for the Green and Gold.

Keuka College 59 at Penn College 39

Keuka College took the lead off the opening trip as Brianna Legacy found Lauren Anten for a jumper nine seconds into the game. Penn College took the lead back, but the Wolves went on a 7-0 run to regain the advantage. The Green and Gold led by 10 points late in the quarter, but Penn hit a three at the end of the quarter to make it 19-12 after one.

The Wolves scored the first seven points of the second quarter and held the Wildcats off the board for the first four minutes of play. It would not be until the 2:54 mark that Penn College made their first field goal of the second quarter. Keuka College led 33-19 at the break.

Defense once again proved strong for the Wolves as they did not allow a Penn College field goal for the first three minutes of the third quarter. The Wolves pushed their lead to over 20 points midway through the third quarter. The lead would be 16, 47-31, going to the final quarter.

Keuka College would close it out in the final quarter. The Wolves outscored Penn College 12-8 in the frame on their way to the 59-39 victory.

• The Wolves improve to 5-1 all-time against the Wildcats and have won all three meetings in Williamsport
• Keuka College had 24 offensive rebounds, leading to 17 second-chance points. It was a season-high in rebounds for the Wolves
• Keuka was +20 in total rebounding, out-rebounding Penn College 53-33
• The Wolves did not hit a three-pointer in the game for the first time since January 2017
• For the second straight game, the Wolves had a strong game taking away the ball. Keuka College had 15 steals as a team and were led by Brianna Legacy with a career-high four
• Sam Laranjo (Averill Park, N.Y. / Averill Park) became just the sixth player in program history to surpass 300 career assists

Up Next for Keuka College: The Wolves remain on the road on Wednesday as Keuka College travels to Morrisville State to face the Mustangs. Keuka College swept the regular season against Morrisville, defeating the Mustangs twice. The Wolves then defeated Morrisville State in the first round of the last season's North Eastern Athletic Conference Tournament.
