Washington, PA- Salem traveled to Washington, PA to take on Marietta College in the Washington & Jefferson College Tip-Off Tournament last night. This was Marietta's first contest of the season, while being Salem's third.  Salem was stunned early by the Pioneers of Marietta, succumbing to a 36-89 defeat. Salem falls to 0-3 on the season.

Tamara Blanton (11) and Makalla Burnette (10) led the Spirits in scoring.

The team looks to bounce back quickly, as they face Dickinson tonight, who lost to tournament host Washington & Jefferson.  The consolation game is slated for 2pm start on Saturday, November 17th.
