LOS ANGELES — Shariah Green led four players in double figures as the Occidental women's basketball erupted for 34 points in the fourth quarter to beat Caltech 71-62 at Rush Gym on Wednesday.
Green had 16 points and seven rebounds, Alyssa Ramlochan had 11 points, 9 rebounds, five assists and three steals, Emily Leonard had 14 points and Triana Anderson added 13 points and five assists.
Madison Toy and Grace Baranowski each scored six points off the bench and Taylor Yoshida added five.
Green scored half of her points at the free throw line, going 8 for 9.
Elizabeth Eiden led Caltech with 20 points, Grace Peng had 12 and Samantha D'Costa had 17.
Oxy trailed by eight points entering the four quarter before beating the Beavers 34-15 in the period.
The Tigers won the battle on the boards 37-29.
Season Impact: Oxy improves to 11-11 overall and 5-8 in SCIAC play.
Caltech falls to 4-17 and 2-11.
Next Game: The Tigers are back in action on Saturday against Whittier at home at 4 p.m.
