The Baruch College Bearcats lost 79-46 to the Bulldogs of Brooklyn College on Tuesday night in the ARC Arena.

The visiting Bulldogs shot 53 percent (18-for-34) in the first half, including 5-of-10 from three, to jump out to the lead and record the CUNYAC victory.

The Bearcats totaled 12 steals and two blocks in the contest.

Melinda Spahiu led the Bearcats this evening with 15 points and five assists, while Shannon Barrett had 12 points and 13 rebounds.

Three different players scored 14 points each for the Bulldogs.

The Bearcats will resume action on Thursday 6 p.m. with the highly-anticipated Battle of Lexington against rival Hunter College.
