Hawks Drop 67-57 Decision at Fisher

            PITTSFORD, NY – Carly Johnson (Greenville, NY/Greenville Central), Caitlin Corbett (Altamont, NY/Guilderland), and Mary Schoenherr (Unionville, CT/Farmington) combined for 45 points but St. John Fisher came away with a 67-57 victory over Hartwick's women's basketball team Saturday afternoon at Bobby Wanzer Court.

            The Cardinals out-scored the Hawks 23-11 in the third quarter en route to the win. The Hawks led 27-24 at the halftime break.

            Hartwick (5-15, 4-7 E8) was paced by Johnson's 17 points. She also connected on three three-pointers. Corbett added 16 points and Schoenherr netted 12.

            Alexa DuBois (Hobart, NY/South Kortright) contributed seven points and a team-high six rebounds. Kelsey Collins (Forestburgh, NY/Eldred Central) also had six boards.

            Caroline Robertson led all players with 21 points for the Cardinals. Erin Hulbert added 18 points and a game-high 12 rebounds.

            Hartwick hosts Elmira on Tuesday, February 6 at 8 p.m.
