LaPLUME, Pa.—Marywood University raced out to a 46-23 halftime lead and went on to post a 78-46 victory over Keystone College in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) women's basketball action Wednesday evening at the Gambal Athletic Center.

Junior center Natasha Hessling led the Pacers with 15 points, freshman guard Erika Bistran finished with 12 points and six rebounds, and junior guard Gab Giordano contributed nine points and 10 rebounds to help Marywood improve to 10-9 overall and 8-2 in the CSAC.

Freshman forward Samy Farah recorded her second 'double double' of the season with 16 points and 13 rebounds and freshman guard Bre Moore came off the bench and finished with 13 points, eight rebounds, four assists and four steals.  The loss drops the Giants to 3-14 overall and 2-8 in conference play.

Keystone struggled early, shooting only 4 of 16 from the field in the first quarter to fall behind 21-12.  It didn't get any easier for the Giants in the second period, either, as they connected on just 5 of 24 shot attempts.

For the game, Marywood out-rebounded the Giants, 57-44, and the Pacer reserves out-scored Keystone's bench, 43-17.

Senior guard Nina Hodanich contributed nine points for Keystone, which will return to action Saturday, January 24, against Valley Forge University in non-conference action in Phoenixville, Pa., beginning at 1:00 p.m.
