Keystone Falls To Rosemont, 61-51, Monday Afternoon in CSAC Action

LaPlume—Getting out of the gates has been an issue for the Keystone College women's basketball team this year.

The Giants once again struggled at the onset, falling behind 31-13 at halftime en route to a 61-51 loss to Rosemont College in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action Monday afternoon at Gambal Athletic Center.

Freshman Bre Moore led Keystone, now 3-11 overall and 2-5 in the CSAC, with 18 points and sophomore center Maddy Moro finished with nine points, 11 rebounds, two assists and two blocks in 24 minutes of action off the bench.  The Giants also received four points, 10 rebounds and two assists from junior forward Mayah Kitchen.

Senior guard Jasmyn Parker led the Ravens, now 10-6 overall and 4-3 in conference play, with 21 points.

Despite trailing by 18 points at intermission, the Giants continued to plug away and shot nearly 62 percent in the fourth period to set the final score.

Keystone outscored Rosemont, 27-15, in the final stanza to set the final score.

The Giants will open a two-game CSAC road trip this Wednesday, January 17, against Gwynedd-Mercy in Gwynedd Valley, Pa., beginning at 6:00 p.m.
