Beck broke the ice in the second at 7:06 to begin another solo run. Biney made it a 15-point game with a steal and a score just over 30 seconds later. Back-to-back-triples by senior Haley Wilder (Rindge, NH) and junior Cori Ouellette (Madison, CT) put the margin back into single digits 4:47 into the stanza. The cushion then ballooned to 16 thanks to a long Biney 3-pointer with 3:12 remaining until the break. Beck added three more with 92 seconds left as the Engineers took the 18-point lead to the locker room.

Wilder interrupted a 7-0 WPI run halfway through the third. Chen added a pair of free throws but the Engineers went up by 28 following a Biney bucket at 1:14. The Engineers largest lead of the game was the final margin of 37.
