Nine of those rebounds were on the offensive end. She also dished out two assists and forced just as many steals. Junior guard Nicole Bick led the team with a career-high 24 points, while grabbing five rebounds, distributing two assists, and forcing a steal.

Yeshiva got off to a strong start, as a layup by Alge put YU up, 4-0, 2:13 into the contest. After the Cardinals jumped out to a 40-27 advantage, Yeshiva scored seven unanswered points, all by Bick, to narrow the deficit to 42-34 with 5:04 left in the third quarter. In that run, Bick nailed a 3-point shot, hit two free throws, and converted a layup. Bick drained another shot from beyond the arc to shrink York's lead to 50-45, with five seconds left. That would be the score entering the fourth quarter. The Maccabees outscored the Cardinals, 23-19, in the third period.

York opened the final stanza with a 15-4 run to put the game out of reach for Yeshiva. The Cardinals ended up earning their first win of the season, 84-62.
